ABSTRACT
An analysis of media coverage of European news should also take account of changes and trends in the way that European issues are reported. Based partly on the perceptions of both journalists and politicians interviewed in the eight countries of the study and supplemented with reference to other studies on journalism in Europe, this chapter examines some of these issues.
