ABSTRACT
The collapse of the two blocs of the Cold War period signified a new direction for all foreign-affairs relations between the East and West, and the North and South. It also deprived the nonaligned states of their role in the context of global geopolitics and the political landscape in the world’s developing regions changed significantly.
