ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the general ideology of human rights education. It also discusses the instructional methods used by human rights and peace educators. The global framework for human rights education is presented Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Donna Habsha of the University of Windsor stated it this way, 'a 'culture of human rights' seeks to cultivate a high level of consciousness and compassion for the inalienable rights of all beings.
