ABSTRACT
The clinical and decision, or administrative, environments in which the procedures are used must drive the correct selection of appropriate statistical procedures in the analysis of psychological test results. This chapter provides recommendations and guidelines for selecting statistical procedures useful in two such environments: (a) screening and treatment planning and (b) progress and outcome assessment. Each environment has unique demands warranting different, though not necessarily, independent statistical approaches.
