Cognitive Assessment of Preschool and Elementary School Students

The goal of this chapter is to provide a framework for understanding cognitive development in children with Asperger's Syndrome. This framework certainly is not the only way in which to organize cognitive data, and the list of assessment tools is far from exhaustive. Instead, the framework and instruments are discussed as "leads" that the clinician can pursue in making sense of these complicated children.
