ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we shall discuss the role of work-family culture reconciling the

demands of work and family in organizations. We have three primary aims: The

first is theoretical: to theorize work-family culture from the perspective of

organizational culture; the second is empirical: to present a review of the

existing literature on work-family culture and provide directions for future

research; and the third is practical: to make suggestions for creating family-

friendly organizations.
