The Discourses of the Deep South's Conception of Character Education

Both proposals from the Deep South included all of the criteria called for in the RFP: They included the six required aspects of character, they established partnerships with Local Educational Agencies (LEAs), they provided a clearinghouse for distributing materials and information about CE, and they included an evaluation designed to determine the success toward reducing discipline problems, improving student grades, increasing participation in extracurricular activities, and raising parent and community involvement.
