CLASSIFICATION ■ An arbitrary classification is by the size of the vessel or ves-
sels involved (Table 1). ■ The predominantly pediatric vasculitic syndromes of
Kawasaki disease and Henoch-Schönlein purpura are not considered in this chapter.
