ABSTRACT
The typical target or bull’s-eye lesion at sonography is an echogenic center surrounded by a hypoechoic band. As the lesions heal, they often become homogeneously hypoechoic. Most lesions are 5 to 10 mm in diameter. The finding of similar-appearing lesions in the liver or kidneys is helpful to suggest Candida infection.
