ABSTRACT
The final chapter of this volume has been compiled in an effort to present advances made
in the area of graft-vs.-host disease (GVHD) and graft-vs.-leukemia (GVL) research while
in production. The first section focuses on the experimental advances made with respect to
the immunobiology of GVHD, the second on advances in understanding GVL activity, and
the third section reviews relevant therapeutic and prognostic advances that have been
made in clinical GVHD.
