ABSTRACT
The requirements placed on trams in regard to comfort, safety, and capacity are high-level and numerous at the same time. Trams should be comfortable and safe for passengers and should allow them to get in and out of the tram fast. Also, capacity should be enlarged due to the increasing number of passengers. Apart from the needs of passengers, the driver’s cab should meet the driver’s needs. The cab should be comfortable for small, tall, slender, and corpulent drivers, and should stimulate safe driving as well as good visibility and clearance.
