ABSTRACT

An antigen encoded by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I genes that is produced in a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) linked form as well as in a soluble secreted form. It shows little polymorphism and is tissue specific. Anti-Qa-2 mAbs are potent T cell activators in the presence of PMA and a cross-linking anti-immunoglobulin.
