ABSTRACT
For the pathological evaluation of nerve biopsy, the first task is to assess the adequacy of the sample in terms of size and technical preparation. Once this is determined, the sections must be evaluated systematically. The following guidelines are from the method of interpretation adopted by the UAB muscle and nerve histopathology laboratory.
