ABSTRACT
Network functions are employed to characterize linear, time-invariant networks in the zero state for a single excitation. As described in Chapter 1.4 and other sections of this handbook, network functions contain information concerning a network’s stability and natural modes. They allow a designer to focus on obtaining a desired output signal for a given input signal.
