ABSTRACT
Notes: Due to unique properties, iron hematoxylin has been used for staining intestinal protozoa (X12751322). It is astringent and useful in diarrhea and dysentery. I was embarrassed to see that in my rst drafts I did not consult my ethnobotanical database (https://www.ars-grin.gov/ cgi-bin/duke/ethnobot), wherein I re-encountered activities and indications entered close to 25 years ago (all DAW entries below).
