ABSTRACT

Biomedical sensing is a typical example of interdisciplinary fi elds that poses great challenges and desires the cooperation of experts of numerous scientifi c areas such as medicine, bioengineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, material sciences, nanotechnology in developing biosensors and other sensitive biomedical constructions such as drug delivery systems. e development in the fi eld of micro-and nanotechnology and material science enabled the preparation of miniaturized biosensors that are applicable in biomedical diagnostics and monitoring.
