ABSTRACT

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is the primary modulation technique for digital broadband communication and broadcasting systems, including the digital video broadcasting (DVB)1

and digital audio broadcasting (DAB).2 The fundamental principle of OFDM technology is the concept of multichannel modulation that divides a broadband wireless channel into a number of parallel subchannels, or subcarriers, so that multiple symbols can be sent in parallel.
