ABSTRACT
As mentioned before, the basic philosophy of the present course is to teach through example. Having this in mind, a one-dimensional model for moving-bed reactors is shown. The present case is focused on gasifiers and combustors; however, the present model is not limited to this equipment, and any other kind of process might use the same approach. Of course, in such cases, the set of kinetics shown in Chapters 8, 9, and 10 may receive additions or modifications.
