Design methods, simulation results, and conclusion

The study of this section is concentrated on GPC tuning methodology based on optimization by genetic algorithms. The proposed design methodology provides a systematic way of selecting design parameters compared to trialand-error methods reported in the literature. The robustness of genetic algorithms for applications of GPC design is due to their capacity to locate the global optimum in a multimodal landscape.
