ABSTRACT
The limitations of conventional controllers for application to complicated, dynamical systems have motivated research into “intelligent” control systems. A popular technique is fuzzy control, in which expert knowledge can be incorporated into the design. An introduction to fuzzy logic and fuzzy control is provided in Appendix A.
