ABSTRACT

First proposed in 1966 by Ito [1], countercurrent chromatography (CCC) gradually begins to be known by the separation community. However, it is still associated with numerous negative ideas such as incredibly complicated apparatuses, diffi cult operation, poor effi ciency, and lengthy procedures. This is slowly evolving. It is very simple to present the CCC technique: CCC is just a liquid chromatography (LC) technique working with a support-free liquid stationary phase [2].
