ABSTRACT
From the title of this chapter a person not well versed in technology might believe that our focus is upon a type of ice cream, soda, or another product that we eat or drink. In actuality, Ethernet resembles certain products found in food stores in that there are a number of “flavors” of Ethernet technology that were developed over the past 40 years.
