ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to introduce and review characterization methodology of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and used materials. The main topics include shielding effectiveness measurement, electrical and thermal properties, electrical permittivity and magnetic permeability, mechanical property, surface finish and interface compatibility, formability and manufacturability, and environmental performance evaluation.
