ABSTRACT
The goals of this lesson are to allow the student to become familiar with the basic geometric shapes and patterns formed by droplets of blood when they impact different target surfaces at various angles. Each student will also gain additional hands-on experience while experimenting with blood smears and contact pattern transfers. Finally, each student will learn the concepts and rationale used in the study and interpretation of complex bloodstain patterns.
