ABSTRACT
We have studied two methods for generating fractals: recursive turtle programs and iterated function systems. We have also examined many fractal curves that can be generated by both methods. Whenever there are two seemingly dissimilar approaches to accomplishing the same task, questions naturally arise concerning how the two techniques are related. For fractals we ask the following questions:
1. Is it always true that a fractal generated by one method can be generated by other technique?
