ABSTRACT
Research and development in photon detection are rapidly spreading. In radiation and uorescence detection for biological applications, attention is being focused on photo detectors that can detect single photons with accuracy and high speed. In this chapter, various hybrid photodetectors (HPDs) developed as highly sensitive photodetectors are discussed.
