ABSTRACT
The dynamic modeling of optical transmission systems is very important in ultra-highspeed optically amplifi ed communication systems. Systems operating at bit rates above 40 Gb/s require detailed and accurate modeling. Therefore, the modeling of the Raman gain amplifi cation must be integrated into the propagation of modulated optical signals over the models of multi-span transmission link.
