ABSTRACT
CAD software allows the user to draw at standard scales. MATLAB is not designed for engineering graphics; therefore, it usually scales plots so as to better use the computer screen, but does not care for standard scaling. It is possible to extend the usability of MATLAB by enabling plotting at a desired scale and this chapter shows how to do it.
