ABSTRACT
Corrosive agents consist of certain acids and alkalis as well as other compounds and are responsible for signifi cant immediate and long-term morbidity (1). They are among the most dangerous commercial products found in the home (2,3). These substances are used widely as raw materials and for cleaning, curing, extracting, and pre serving in industry as well as in the home.
