ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have summarized the notations and assumptions for ROC analysis. In this chapter, the special feature that an ROC curve is invariant to any monotone transformation is utilized. That is, a single diagnostic test is evaluated on random samples of subjects of two underlying populations governed by the gold standard.
