ABSTRACT
This chapter starts the discussion and examination of juvenile corrections. Probation is discussed first because it is by far the most popular disposition of juveniles who have been adjudicated as delinquents. Appendix A includes some of the terms generally used in discussing juvenile corrections. Box 11.1 and Table 11.1 provide information on the disposition of juvenile cases that resulted in an adjudicated delinquency.
