ABSTRACT
Parole services consist of the various programs and components of the juvenile justice system necessary to facilitate the goals and purposes of parole. Parole services include classification tasks performed at the institution, counseling sessions, and education classes provided by the institution. Generally, prior to release, preparole investigations are conducted to obtain the necessary background information to devise parole plans for the youths. Parole services continue until the youths are released from parole.
