ABSTRACT
Over time, an organization that implements Lean becomes a Lean enterprise. There is no precise definition of a Lean enterprise, but there are at least three characteristics:
1. Lean methods 2. Lean culture 3. Lean relationships
A Lean enterprise is not created quickly. It requires fundamental changes to take place within the organization, and between the organization and its business partners. These changes take a great deal of time and careful attention.
