ABSTRACT

In Chapters 5, 6, 12, and 14, we discussed how to eliminate transactions from a Lean company’s business processes. All transactions are wasteful and time-consuming, and eliminating them relentlessly is very important in Lean Accounting, especially in the beginning. Transactions, however, are used in Lean Accounting. Transaction-based tracking systems are used to maintain operational and financial control of the organization when those processes are unstable and likely to go out of control.
