ABSTRACT

In Chapter 1, I mentioned the David Parker Ray case as a classic example of sexual sadism as defined in Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR) (APA, 2000). In Chapter 2, I present various examples of how the sexual sadist incorporated fantasy into the criminal event. This chapter will focus on one particular offender who, in the opinion of the author, was one of the most dangerous and evil of all of the serial murderers on which I have consulted. Clinically speaking, I would diagnose him as a psychopathic sexual sadist. Investigatively speaking, I would define him as a human predator. Spiritually speaking, I would define him as the devil on Earth.
