ABSTRACT
The BTK (bind, torture, kill) killer had claimed credit for seven murders, which had occurred between 1974 and 1977. The actual number of homicides that BTK was ultimately responsible for was 10. However, authorities would not know about the additional homicides until his arrest in 2005.
