ABSTRACT
Since 1992, there has been a continual move (unit by unit) from one campus location to another because of lack of space. Space is at a critical premium when running all the functions within a hospital facility, and even more so when a large hospital is moving from one campus to another. Ÿe 5S tool provided a solution to space issues without downsizing sta¡ or incurring large-scale capital building costs.
