ABSTRACT
The executive sponsor is typically a senior leader, such as vice president, general manager, administrator, or “C-suite” leader (CEO, COO, CIO, CMO, etc.), who provides senior leadership direction and support for the Event from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up. The executive sponsor typically has ultimate authority over the area(s) in which the improvement will occur.
