ABSTRACT
We have shown in Chapter 28 how Maxwell’s equations gave rise to the equations of the radiation field and the power emitted by an accelerating electron. We now discuss the polarization of the radiation emitted by specific electron configurations, for example, bound charges and charges moving in circular and elliptical paths.
