The Anthropometric Difference Between Curacao and the Netherlands/USA with Regard to Table Height

The Occupational Health Department was established in 1985 by the government of Curac;ao and became a section ofthe Public Health Department. Due to a high absenteeism of the public servants which was not always related to illnesses but more related to working conditions, the government found it necessary to establish an Occupational Health Department which was able to successfully reduce the number of absenteeism per year in the civil services from I 0% to 6%.
