ABSTRACT
This chapter presents basic methods of analysis of signals in the time-frequency domain. Since it is primarily directed to researchers interested in analysis of electrical activity of the human brain, we use a sample recording of nonstationary epileptiform activity as a real world example of the application of time-frequency methods.
