ABSTRACT

Sensitivity analyses answer one simple question: What would happen if a single parameter in the project environment were changed? The thrust behind an effective sensitivity analysis is to examine the potential influence of one alteration to the project in terms of the risk context. The parameter being changed can be almost anything, ranging from a single change in the project’s environment to a change of one of its constraints. The key, however, is to modify one parameter at a time to determine the degree of influence the change would have on the situation.
