ABSTRACT

Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is a nonpolar, electron-attaching gas with 70 electrons. Its electronic polarizability is 7.277 × 1040 F m2 and its ionization potential is 15.32 eV. Extensive data are provided by Christophorou and Olthoff (2000), Karwasz et  al. (2003), Christophorou and Olthoff (2004), and Raju (2005).
