ABSTRACT
Target signature methods are built on the capability to obtain calibrated image data in the spectral bands of interest. This entry presents two specific calibration techniques that have been successfully used in the research and development communities. Each method is firmly based on the physics of the phenomenology and the methods described encompass both the reflective and the reflective/emission electro-optic bands.
