ABSTRACT
The regulation of voltages is an important function on a distribution feeder. As the loads on the feeders vary, there must be some means of regulating the voltage so that every customer’s voltage remains within an acceptable level. Common methods of regulating the voltage are the application of steptypevoltage regulators, load tap changing (LTC) transformers, and shunt capacitors.
