This entry examines the market for remanufactured products from several angles. These include: Price differentialsSeller reputation and warrantiesBuyer experiencePost‐purchase buyer feedbackNotably, he author's research shows that remanufactured products are associated with the greater likelihood of positive feedback compared to new products. In other words, despite uncertainty in product quality prior to purchase, buyers of remanufactured products perceive greater value in remanufactured products due to comparable qualities, lower prices, and perhaps lower buyer expectations for the recycled product.
