ABSTRACT
This chapter is about the practical issues in using some popular Desktop Grid middleware, namely XtremWeb, BOINC, and Condor. Instead of presenting one by one how to use each Desktop Grid middleware, we introduce a system able to coordinate multiple instances of XtremWeb, BOINC, Condor, namely BonjourGrid. All the practival work that we introduce in this chapter is built on top of BonjourGrid.
