ABSTRACT

The volatile fraction of bergamot oil represents about 95% of the whole oil. It is composed of monoterpene and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons and their oxygenated derivatives (alcohols, esters, aldehydes, and oxides). Small amounts of aliphatic alcohols, aldehydes, and esters are also present. The main components are limonene, linalyl
