ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the use of Ml and CGEN in designing a 80386-based system. It is assumed that Ml currently has design knowledge for 80386-based systems using an Intel 8251 SIO chip. A domain expert wants to produce a slightly different design using an Intel 18274 SIO chip instead. The complete process that he has to undergo is as follows:
1. Develop a part model for the 18274.
