ABSTRACT
The MICON system has been distributed to a number of different organizations. We have been able to work with these groups to gain additional insight into the system’s usefulness. This information is particularly helpful since it comes from practicing designers who are not part of the development group. These outside users come from the following two groups:
Workshops: MICON is presented as a two-day workshop where participants learn how to use MICON and how to apply it to their design problems. At the end of the workshop the participants are acquainted with all parts of the system and create both a small knowledge base and design.
